                                Solman Realty named one of
                                             largest realtors

A report issued by the   Boulder county Business Report, a bi-weekly  periodical covering business news in Boulder County, has listed Solman   Realty of Lyons as the seventeenth largest residential real estate brokerage in Boulder/Broomfield counties market.

Solman Realty’s appearance on the list is especially notable for the fact that realtor Pam Solman did not open her doors for business until June of last year.

Ms. Solman noted that since its opening, her company has expanded to include three full-time agents, a receptionist and a book-keeper and has also begun keeping its office at 436 Main Street in Lyons open seven days a week: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends.

“We’re excited with our ranking,” said Ms. Solman.  “And, we expect to do even better in 2003.  We are pleased to be serving the local community from our office in Lyons.”

Birthday benefit for Horse Rescue

LYONS – Pam Solman of Coldwell Banker Preferred Realty, celebrated her and her daughter’s birthday on Jan. 19th by making it a benefit celebration for Colorado Horse Rescue.  The celebration was held at the Solman’s ranch northwest of Lyons in Spring Gulch.  Guests enjoyed hayrides, live music, horseback riding and a gourmet catered lunch.  Guests were asked to make a donation to Colorado Horse Rescue at 10386 North 65th St., Longmont, Colo. 80503.  You can call the rescue at 720-494-1414 or www.chr.org.

Solman said, “The events of Sept. 11 have shown my family that what really matters is how much kindness we show each other and all living things while we have the opportunity to do so.”

Little Charlie Brown, the CHR miniature mascot was on hand at the benefit.  Charlie  Brown had injuries too numerous to count and was abandoned on the side of the road when CHR found him.  Charlie moves slowly but he is happy now with his pals at CHR.  He is the official good will ambassador for the group.  CHR is the longest established horse rescue in the country and survives through contributions to provide shelter, care, rehabilitation and adoption for abused, neglected and abandoned horses.  All contributions are appreciated and will help the animals that need so little and give a lot.
